If you hire QuickFix Appliance Repair (the “Customer”) for service work, the following Terms and Conditions apply to all services performed and parts supplied. Allowing our technician to begin work constitutes your acceptance of these terms. Please read these conditions carefully before service starts.
- Diagnostic Fee: We charge a non-refundable diagnostic service fee for each service visit. This fee covers travel and the technician’s time to diagnose the problem. If you choose to proceed with the repair, this fee will be applied toward the cost of the service.
- Estimates: Before performing any work, we provide a detailed price estimate for parts and labor. By agreeing to the service, you accept the quoted price and scope of work. Applicable sales tax will be added to the total cost.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of repairs unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by credit card, check, or other agreed method. Returns or disputes (e.g. dishonored checks) may incur processing fees and interest, as permitted by law. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum lawful rate.
- Limitation of Liability: QuickFix’s liability is limited to the cost of the services you paid for. We are not responsible for any special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages (such as loss of food, consequential property damage, or other expenses) arising from repairs or replacement parts. This limitation does not apply to claims for personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, along with any service order, constitute the entire agreement between QuickFix and the Customer, superseding all prior agreements. Any changes must be agreed in writing.
- Governing Law: Any disputes arising under this agreement will be governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
